Quality Ag is a New Zealand owned and operated company based in Springfield, Canterbury. We started out hiring agricultural machinery to farmers in 2009. We wanted to help farmers get access to the highest quality agricultural machinery when they needed it without tying up their own capital or having to shoulder the maintenance costs themselves. Especially, when the machinery was only required for seasonal work. Building on our experience hiring out and maintaining our own machinery, we started offering refurbishment services for farmers that had made the decision to purchase their own machinery.
Very quickly, we saw that there was a high need in New Zealand for quality agricultural machinery parts at a reasonable price. Not only was there an opportunity to meet our own needs, with our own machinery working so hard, and refurbishing machinery for others, but others were also looking for the same products and having the same trouble we were.
With 10 years’ experience sourcing parts for local machinery manufacturing companies prior to starting Quality Ag, and excellent relationships with reputable local foundries, we started manufacturing our own parts as well as sourcing from suppliers both locally and abroad. Being that we are a manufacturer, supplier and user of these parts, we are in the unique position of being able to thoroughly test parts on our own hardworking machines before making them available on the open market. This allows us to tweak and change designs to improve quality and lifespan, in turn, guaranteeing the best quality parts for your machinery.
